The Future of the Carrizo Creek Range
Leadership:The future of this organization lies in our supporters. Due to the collegiate requirements of our current organizers, delegation of duties for the next preservation event(s) is essential. This is YOUR opportunity to make a difference in the future of recreational target shooting at the Carrizo Creek Range.

Remember, no contribution is too small - everyone can make a difference no matter what your time or financial constraints are - our power is in our numbers!
More Efficiency:For the Spring Preservation event, we will employ more effective and efficient tools such as magnetic sweepers. These 24'' wide magnets on wheels will do an amazing job helping volunteers pick up steel casings (Wolf) as well as the hundreds of pounds of small scrap metal that has accumulated at the range. If you have ANY contacts with roofing companies who use these tools, and are able to borrow them, please send us an email - we will be needing as many as possible. Incoming(AT)CarrizoCreekRange.(ORG)
Debate:Since January 2007, the leadership of this organization has been engaged in pro-active measures to keep the Carrizo Creek Range open to recreational target shooting. Our efforts have yielded us amazing results in educating the public of the issues, mitigating the impact users of the CCR have on the land, as well as reversing the effect of many years of neglect and accumulation of illegally dumped garbage - all without implementing new laws or using public funds.
In the future, possibly as soon as this year, the Carrizo Creek Range Organization will be called upon to fight for our rights on a different front - argumentation against interests who would like to continue this trend of closing public land to recreational target shooting. We are ready for these debates and possible court actions. The research has been done, the education has been acquired - and the allies have been lined up.
